A two-year-old's preschool day at ECC consists of structured play times with age-appropriate learning experiences (beginning concepts of shapes, colors, counting and large motor development through games, stories and songs.) Our goal is to make each day a happy experience for these little ones.  Parents of two-year-olds may elect to send their child one or two days per week.

The preschool and pre-kindergarten classes (for three- to five-year-olds) also stress socialization, with more learning experiences presented. Each month the children are introduced to thematic units, such as:  Home & Family, Animals, and Community Helpers; along with Christian themes, such as Love, Kindness, and Sharing. Classes are child-centered with enough structure to create a safe environment. Classrooms are designed in play centers for the children's enjoyment.  Three-year-olds attend ECC two days per week, with the option of adding a third day.  Pre-Kindergarten classes are scheduled three days per week, with the option of adding a fourth day. 

We also offer a High Fives class for those children who have turned five but may not be ready to start Kindergarten for another year; this class meets four days per week.
